WHEN ELDERS MEDITATE
When Elders Meditate is a free wellness program for senior citizens. Every two weeks, Fimo Mitchell guides participants through a meditation session that is followed by a time of sharing. A specialized yoga instructor is always on hand to offer 20 minutes of chair yoga after the meditation circle. When Elders Meditate aims to support the social participation and inclusion of seniors while fortifying their mental and physical health.
